This is our About page.

Frontier Lab is a three-person team at the Stellar Development Foundation (SDF). We build things using new and emerging Stellar features, experiment with tools that seem interesting, and document what we learn along the way.

What you’ll find here:

Build Logs: stories from things we’ve built ourselves. What we were trying to do, how we thought about it, what finally made it click, and the gotchas we wish someone had warned us about.

Case Files: thought leadership grounded in what we’ve actually built. Case Files pull lessons from our projects, experiments, and failures to explore bigger questions about how people should build on Stellar.

Scratchpad: shorter dispatches from whatever has our attention right now — new capabilities, interesting tools, open questions, weird little discoveries, and things that feel worth poking at.

If something is experimental or half-baked, we’ll tell you. If we had to reverse-engineer our own app to figure out what we built, that’s probably making it into the post too.

The goal is simple: every post should leave you knowing something cool, useful, or delightfully weird about building on Stellar.

We’re Tyler, Bri, and Bruno: builders, tinkerers, creators, and frequent askers of “wait, can Stellar do that?”

Frontier Lab builds at the edge of what’s possible on the Stellar network. We prototype new ideas, test emerging features, and share what we learn along the way.
